Au Etoile Jewelry is a small and creative fine jewellery business created in 2021. Au Etoile Jewelry was started in 2021 to fill a gap in the jewellery business in Singapore during which there was no local fine jewellery brand with light delicate aesthetics. Some of the early challenges the brand faced included the difficulty of finding a local craftsman or workshop within the tightly closed industry to produce the brand’s designs; establishing a reputation as a fine jewellery business from scratch; and getting new customers in a business where fine jewellery is very much an occasional celebratory purchase.
With spiking gold prices, the allure of cheaper offshore costs and advent of lab-grown diamonds, Au Etoile Jewelry still sees potential for growth due to its focus to differentiate itself by doing fine jewellery its own way. Au Etoile Jewellery pieces are chic, luxurious but discreet, and crafted by local expertise. The brand is committed to maintaining the majority or key parts of its production in Singapore to be closer to the hand-crafting process and to recognize the skill of artisans and workshops on the island.
